Never let anybody in your house you do not know unless they have some identity that if need be you can check by phoning his or her employers. Always obtain at least 3 quotes before offering a contract for the work to be undertaken.

Unfinished paintwork and paint on the lino. The customer has been waiting 7 weeks for a fresh unit, and the job to be completed.
We can confirm that the majority of the tradesman that were sub contracted by APOLLO are very good at their job, its their management that are in the opinion of many that are incompetent and unreliable.

KITCHEN ONLY AT 5.30PM AND I WAITED IN ALL DAY.
TUESDAY 11/5/2010
GOT A PHONE CALL AT 8.45AM AND SAID IT
WOULD BE 12.00 MIDDAY WHEN THEY WOULD BE HERE TO TAKE OUT KITCHEN
UNITS. THEY FINISHED AT 6.15PM
Wednesday 12/5/10
Electrical wiring done and finished at
12.00mid day
1.45pm I noticed a leak under sink
dripping quickly. I phoned repairs for emergency and had to leave a
message at Apollo site about the leak. Apollo eventually sent a
plumber and he took out a blue pipe from wash machine.
THURSDAY 13/5/10
8.15AM PLASTERER didn’t come as he
was supposed to. At 8.45am I phoned Apollo and was told to go out as
he wouldn’t be here in time. I got up early that day for NOTHING
TO BE DONE it seems. I was told he would be here at 1.30pm and he
turned up and finished at 4.00pm. VERY MESSY ALL ROUND
FRIDAY 14/5/10
UNITS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DELIVERED AND
NO ONE PHONED ME SO I PHONED THEM AND THEY SAID THERE WAS NO DELIVERY
BUT WOULD COME MONDAY.
MONDAY 17/5/10
Units still not here. Phoned office at
9.30 am and was told they couldn’t put units in today. I HAD A GO
AT THEM AND SAID I HAD TO TAKE MY DOG TO THE VETS AND WOULD BE BACK
AT 1.30PM BUT THEY DIDN’T COME
TUESDAY 18/5/10
GOT BACK FROM VET.12.20 PHONED APOLLO
ABOUT UNITS AND WAS TOLD THEY STILL HADN’T COME AND WERE DUE TO BE
IN WEDNESDAY AND I GOT VERY ANNOYED. I FOUND THE MANAGER AT APOLLO
WAS QUITE OFFENSIVE IN HIS REMARKS.
WEDNESDAY 19/5/10
11.40 am NOT HEARD FROM THEM RE UNITS
AND LYNETTE WAS SUPPOSED TO VISIT ME. SHE GOT HERE AT 1.00PM SHE HAD
ALL THE EXCUSES TELLING ME I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD TO READ THE
LEAFLET OF STEP BY STEP. SHE SAID THE UNITS SHOULDN’T HAVE BEEN
HERE LAST FRIDAY.
THURSDAY 20/5/10 I HAD TO GO TO MY
DISABLED MOTHER BUT THE UNITS WERE DUE TO ARRIVE SO THE MANAGER FROM
THE OFFICE ARRIVED AND WAITED FOR THEM TO FIT IN THE UNITS. I GOT
BACK FROM MUM AT 1.00PM AND THE CARPENTER WAS STILL FITTING UNITS.
THERE WAS NO WATER UNTIL THE PLUMBER HAD TO COME. 4.20PM THE PLUMBER
ARRIVED
Friday 21/5/10 TILER ARRIVED
MONDAY 24/5/10 8.30 AM PAINTER ARRIVED
FINISHED AT 5.15 AND I STILL WAS WAITING FOR THE RADIATOR TO BE PUT
BACK AS THEY HAD PUT IT IN MY BACK GARDEN AND WERE PREPARED TO JUST
LEAVE IT THERE. EVENTUALLY
THERE WAS A VERY STRONBG SMELL WHEN THE
UNDERFLOORING WAS DONE IN KITCHEN. TOO STRONG A SMELL.

BROUGHT IN rad but left it due to no part being there.

ALTHOUGH I TOLD THEM I WOULD BE BACK
AFTER 1.00PM THEY STILL CAME AT 10.30 SOMEONE CAME AT 4.00PM AND
HAD TO GO AWAY AGAIN TO GET THE RIGHT PART BUT RETURNED TO FIT IT AT
5.00PM.
NOONE HAS BEEN AROUND TO COLLECT ANY
PAPERWORK AND TO CHECK IF ALL IS IN ORDER

Other complaints include1. a lady who took two weeks vacation Apollo were due to start but they never turned up during that 2 weeks .they said they would2. After completion of another kitchen several units fell off the wall
3. The painting was so bad full of streaks
4.Tiles did not fit properly
5. lots of paint left on the floor
6. Did not start on time
7 Promised date of starting did not materialize

9. Waiting for unit for almost 2 months

The water company that refused to take responsibility for a water leak outside a residents home. The council and water company would not accept responsibility. Following threats of legal action the water company carried out the task of repairing the leak., that was their responsibility all in the first place since the leak was on the pavement outside the residents property. A local hair salon in Borehamwood caused bleech tio damge a customers blouse and they did not want to accept responsibility it was their fault, though it was obvious when she left the salon the blouse was damaged, and was easily seen by other people. PS this is not any of the currently promoted hair salons on this web site
The computer engineer who gave a estimate of a maximum price and increased his fee after completing the job by 50% more than once he increased his price from his maximum estimate to at least two customers.
